1436 Howard Street
San Francisco, California

ccSalons are informal gatherings of CC supporters, users, advocates and friends who are interested in learning more about CC and issues related to free culture and copyright in a digital age.

In the spirit of Open Source World (taking place in San Francisco that week), at August's salon we will hear about CC and open source technology from three presenters:

* Chris DiBona, Open Source Program Manager for Google, Inc.
* Evan Prodromou, co-Founder, WikiTravel.
* Creative Commons' Chief Technology Officer, Nathan Yergler, presenting on the latest in CC's tech developments.

Plenty of street parking available at PariSoMa. (Please note, the space is located up two steep flights of stairs, and unfortunately does not currently have elevator access.) Light refreshments will be provided, and we’ll be accepting donations for CC at the door.
