CC 22: Celebrating 22 years of Culture Clash September 22, 2006

Culture Clash (Richard Montoya, Ric Salinas, and Herbert Siguenza) was founded by Chicano Now curator René Yañez in 1984 in San Francisco’s Mission District. A powerful aspect of the work is their use of humor as both salve and social critique. Their comedy is alternately raw and angry or profound and lyrical, and they have earned critical raves coast to coast. Join them for an intimate "un-plugged" evening where they will discuss their creative journey as a collective and perform from some of their popular plays, including Bowl of Beings, Radio Mambo.
