Cathedral Organist Denis Bedard in concert May 28, 2010

Holy Rosary Cathedral presents Cathedral organist Denis Bedard in a programme featuring English organ music, Bach and Buxtehude, rarely performed works by Italian composers, and his own compositions, on the Cathedral’s magnificent Casavant organ. A highlight of this concert will be the Vancouver premieres of Bedard’s new works, Fantaisie sur “Picardy” and Variations sur “Amazing Grace”. The recital will be projected on a giant screen at the front of the church, allowing the audience to watch the performance in addition to hearing it.
