Catawba River Corridor Plan - Public Workshop June 6, 2007

Location: Ida Rankin Elementary School, 301 W. Central Ave, Mount Holly, NC 28120.
The Catawba River Corridor Plan proposes a multi-use trail along the riverfront, connecting the new Citizens Center with destinations along the river (from the Stowe YMCA to Mountain Island Lake). The Mount Holly Greenprint identifies potential greenway corridors, open spaces, and other types of greenspace to ensure
quality of life, clean air and water, recreation, and economic health. The Greenprint also outlines ways in which Mount Holly can grow into a regional model for a sustainable city.
