Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic for cats in Anderson on July 24

Countryside Animal Rescue has scheduled another Cats Only Spay/Neuter clinic on Tuesday, July 24, 2007. The low-cost clinic, The Neuter Scooter, offers spay and neutering services for cats and kittens during the one-day visit to Anderson.

The cost is $40 per cat when cats are registered and prepaid online. The fee includes a rabies vaccine and a Rhino/Calici/Panleuk/Chlamydia vaccination. The fee is $50 the day of the clinic. Other optional services such as, Leukemia/FIV testing are available at an additional expense.

Persons are urged to register early as the number of cats to be accommodated is limited and the available space usually fills quickly.

pre-surgery instructions and other details about the July 24 clinic. Additional clinics are being planned for August, September and October.

Based in Bloomington, IN, The Neuter Scooter is operated by licensed veterinarian Dr. Tess Peavy. Representatives from Countryside Animal Rescue will also be on hand at the clinic to discuss spay and neutering, pet education, foster home programs, and volunteer opportunities.
