We're excited to finally have a chance to play with Listing Ship, who happen to be one of the coolest bands in L.A. It's going to be an early show in East Hollywood, so come on out, grab some chow and/or a drink, and enjoy some live music while your weekend breathes its last gasps.

Sunday, Sept. 17
at
Safari Sam's
5124 W. Sunset Blvd. (between Western & Normandie)
Hollywood, CA 90027

7 pm - CAT HAIR ENSEMBLE scratch out some waltzes, some spazzy jazz, and a bit of what-have-you. We're sad that our regular bass trombonist, Joe Tepperman, will not be joining us for this show, but we're happy to have Paul Bailey (of the magnificent Paul Bailey Ensemble) filling in.

8 pm - LISTING SHIP have these songs that are so goddamned good that they make me want to chop my ears off. I could go off on the triple-cool violin/viola/upright bass action or the fantastic vocal harmonies, but what
really makes Listing Ship so good is that all that wicked awsomeness is arried to a set of incredible songs.

Safari Sam's has a good bar, great food, and a free parking lot. There will be a paltry $5 cover. And yeah, we start right at 7:00. No diggity. Look at it this way: if you have to work on Monday, you can go hear some live music and still be home by 9:30. If you don't have to work on Monday,
you can stay for the dance club that starts after our show and keep drinking.
You just can't lose.

See you there!
