Castello Banfi Wine Dinner At Vitae Restaurant October 25, 2011

Vitae Restaurant and Wine Bar announces a Castello Banfi wine dinner to be held on Tuesday, October 25 at 7 p.m. The four-course, $85 per person, menu will be paired with wines from Castello Banfi wines.

FIRST COURSE
Seared White Prawn with golden potato-pear and French bean ragout and cider glazed peach
Paired with San Angelo Pinot Grigio 2010

SECOND COURSE
Pan Crisped Five Spice Duck Breast with carrot-ginger puree, plum glaze and dried cherry salsa
Paired with Rosso di Montalcino 2009

THIRD COURSE
Espresso Dusted Shell Steak with sweet potato vanilla flan, hazelnut dust and smoked milk chocolate drizzle
Paired with Belnero, Sangiovese, Proprietor’s Reserve 2008

DESSERT COURSE
Almond Crusted Pound Cake with strawberry-mint relish and raspberry whipped cream
Paired with Rosa Regale
