Cask ‘n Flagon Kicks-off the Holiday Shopping Season with “Black…and Gold Friday” November 27, 2009

Black Friday – the day after thanksgiving – is the official first day of the holiday shopping season. And that day is usually associated with packed malls plagued with long lines, screaming children, heavy bags, large crowds and arguments over parking spots.

The Cask ‘n Flagon is putting on their anti-Black Friday event for the day after Thanksgiving “Black…and Gold Friday.” Bring your laptops to the Cask and utilize the free wireless internet services for some online shopping while watching Boston’s Black and Gold team (the Boston Bruins) take on the New Jersey Devils at 12 noon.

To help take off some of that additional holiday shopping angst, Johnny Walker Black and drinks will be featured, along with draft beers filled halfway with Guinness and halfway with Miller Lite, otherwise known as “Black and Gold’s.”
