Cascadia Con is a North American Science Fiction Convention (NASFiC) held under the auspices of the World Science Fiction Society. A NASFiC is only held when the Worldcon for that year is outside of North America. We have the privilage of hosting this NASFiC in Seattle and of holding the vote for where the next NASFiC will be in 2007.

It starts on Thur the 1st and runs through Monday the 5th and is 24 hours a day. You can do both.

Tempting, but with Bumbershoot's $55 full-event pass, Cascadiacon's $110 event pass, and the (entirely coincidental, as far as timing goes) need for me to try to conserve _some_ money for moving into a new apartment, I don't think it's entirely realistic. ;)

I'd love to be able to hit this...but with this the same weekend as Bumbershoot, I just don't see it happening. Pity, that...and really bad timing!
