CARTUNE XPREZ from Portland, Oregon will be at BLIM with an 80-minute program of fresh animated videos and live multimedia music performances by HOOLIGANSHIP. This is a rare opportunity to see videos by emerging artists as well as internationally known artists whose collective resume includes collaborations with Frank Zappa and major exhibitions at the Whitney Biennial, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the MOMA in New York, the Sundance Film Festival, and many other institutions throughout the world.

Videos by Bruce Bickford, Takeshi Murata, Amy Lockhart, Martha Colburn, Shana Moulton, Adrian Freeman, Eric Dyer, and more.

Performances by HOOLIGANSHIP, Peter Burr and Christopher Doulgeris' multimedia power-grunge party band. Be prepared to embark on a dizzying 3-D quest (red/blue glasses will be provided) with these neon-clad dudes as your host. Costumes by Anna Weber. ( www.hooliganship.com)
