Carroll Harris Simms: Black Art Competition and Exhibition February 11, 2010

Artists compete in the categories of painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media and photography for cash awards. In addition to the cash award categories, there is a Best in Show award. Winner of the Best in Show award is granted a solo exhibition. Winning artwork entries in the various categories become a part of the museum's permanent collection.
