The Conference Organizing Committee, on behalf of the Carpatho-Balkan-Dinaric Regional Working Group of the IAG (CBDRWG), has the pleasure in inviting all geomorphologists and others in related fields to participate in the scientific and social program of the Carpatho-Balkan-Dinaric Conference on Geomorphology. The Conference will take place in Pécs city on October 24–28, 2007.

Field trip, 27-28 October

1st day: Triassic sequence at Bükkösd – Neotectonic evolution of the Pécs Basin – Open pit mines and anthropogeomorphology – Villany Mts, karst and old loess profiles – Wine tasting and gastronomy

2nd day: Bátaapáti (nuclear waste disposal) – Paks Loess Formation (the well known loess profile in central Hungary) – Landslides and mass movement along the Danube at Dunakömlöd
