Doppelganger Joe is a one-woman show (with songs) written and performed by Toronto`s Caroline Lesley. It will have its world premiere this summer at the annual New York International Fringe Festival. The play aims its comic sites at `doppelgangers` (or doubles) and the fact that everyone is said to have one. Urban legend suggests that if you meet your doppelganger, you will both die. Well, the lead character in Doppelganger Joe does indeed find her double, and the audience watches as she struggles to make it out alive!
