Caroline Bergvall is a writer and interdisciplinary poet currently based in London, who works across media, languages, and artforms. Projects alternate between audio pieces, performances, language installations, collaborative projects and books, of which Fig (Salt Books, 2005) are representative. A recent sound & language installation with Ciarán Maher is Say Parsley (Arnolfini, Bristol, Spring 2010). A book of new and selected pieces is entitled Meddle English (Nightboat Books, NY). Her most recent language-based installation was Middling English (John Hansard Gallery, Southampton, September-October 2010). She just completed an AHRC Fellowship in the Creative and Performing Arts. Her excellent website may be viewed at www.carolinebergvall.com
