An opening reception will be held Saturday, June 20, 4-7 p.m. in conjunction wit the national celebration of “Juneteenth.” Join us as we celebrate the opening of the CARNAVAL! an exhibition that celebrates freedom, community and personal renewal. As you experience this beautiful collection, feel free to dance to cultural music, enjoy foods, and arts of some of the countries highlighted in the exhibit. Wear your ethnic attire (African, Bolivian, Brazilian, Italian, Mexican, Spanish, Swedish, Caribbean) or you can bring or make Carnaval-inspired masks on site.
