The Metâs new production of Bizet's opéra comique, first performed in 1875, returns with Elina Garanca as the beautiful gypsy, Carmen, and Roberto Alagna as corporal Don José, her lover-turned-killer. Also featuring Kate Aldrich, Nicole Cabell, Hei-Kyung Hong, Brandon Jovanovich, John Relyea and Paulo Szot.
