Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band CD Release Party! May 29, 2009

Local Reggae statesman and peace activist Carlos Jones and his band the Peace Love Unity Syndicate have been jammin' with Cleveland's best-known musicians for decades, and that experience and legacy comes alive tonight with the debut of Jones' newest CD release Roots With Culture. Awarded wiith All Star status as Cleveland's "Best Reggae/World Music" act by Scene Magtazine, the P.L.U.S. band preaches the gospel of Marley, combining pure roots-reggae rhythms and melodies with deeply spiritual and hopeful messages of peace and community.
