Town Hall?s annual feast of acoustic string music showcases three outstanding acts: Captain Gravel, five young performers who make up Seattle?s hottest acoustic string band specializing in American Bluegrass music on mandolin, banjo, guitar, bass, fiddle, and vocals; Marcos Carmona, the virtuoso Flamenco guitarist playing with percussionist David Carmona; and in an exclusive northwest appearance, the return to Seattle after an almost two year absence of Turkish oud player Munir Beken, world-renowned for his mastery of the exquisite repertoire of Ottoman classical music. Come early for a pre-concert talk at 6:45; Beken interviewed by Town Hall's Spider Kedelsky. Downstairs at Town Hall, enter on Seneca Street.
