The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW) presents a free master class hosted by Step Afrika! on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 6:30-8:30 pm at 545 7th Street, SE. Step Afrika! will teach performance techniques and take students through the creative process of developing stylistic expression of rhythmic footwork, body percussion, spirited vocalizing, and African polyrhythms. Participants will also gain insight into the life of a professional dancer.
