Cantata Singers Spotights Composer Ralph Vaughan Williams January 14, 2011

Cantata Singers continues its season-long exploration of one of England’s greatest composers, Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1958), in a one-night only concert January 14th at NEC’s Jordan Hall. Focusing on the rebirth of England’s new music from the first part of the 20th century, the program includes works by RVW as well as his fellow countrymen Gustav Holst (1874-1934), Edward Elgar (1857-1934), and Gerald Finzi (1901-1958).
