Cannon Poets, Cuckoo's Nest and Friends July 1, 2009

Cannon Poets are a well-respected group of local poets. Cuckoo's Nest are a Birmingham-based ceilidh band featuring fiddle, concertina, whistle, guitar and bassoon - they play dance music from the English and related traditions which will get your feet tapping. For Moseley Festival they are combining for a memorable night of poetry and music.

This event includes an 'open mic' feature for poets - if you wish to read your own work you must book in advance

Admission is free, but publications will be on sale. A percentage will be donated to a local charity.
