Candover Valley Choir Concert - Faure's Requiem, Mendelssohn and more May 16, 2010

This will be a varied concert that will feature Faure's famous Requiem, as well as Mendelssohn's Hear my Payer/O for the Wings of a Dove among other pieces. We are fortunate in that we will be joined by a talented string quartet that will accompany us as well as playing a few other pieces themselves.

All profits from this concert will be shared between the Coda Music Trust (specifically for their music therapy and work with disadvantaged children) and The Alzheimer's Society. Both of these charities provide a lot of help and support to those in need and do a great amount of work within our local community. We hope that you will join with us at this event to try to raise as much money for these excellent causes as we can.
