The Legend of Zoey is an award-winning historical novel and Volunteer State Book Award Nominee for 2009-2010. Zoey is a feisty 13-year-old who goes on what she thinks will be a boring field trip to West Tennessee and Reelfoot Lake; however, she finds herself thrust back in time to 1811, the New Madrid Earthquakes, and a time when the Mississippi flowed backwards.
