Coffee always works. There is Ubiquibucks all over the place. Bean Addiction in Presidential Towers (555 W Madison - just north of Union Station) could work. It's also convenient for me to get back home on Metra.

I'll contact everyone individually, but for the record, we decided against the trip today because of the bitter cold that made our train 2+ hours delayed.
