The Morris Canal once stretched from Philipsburg to Jersey City making the transportation of coal and other good feasible. Spend a day at Waterloo and enjoy special tours of Canal sites not offered on the regular tours, take a rowboat out for a short ride on an existing watered section of the Morris Canal, the Cathy H., a boat that actually navigated the waters of the Mossi Canal will be on drydock display. The Cathy H. is an early 20th century pleasure craft built by Palmer Brothers Boats in Cos Cob, Connecticut. Enjoy live 19th century period music and historic games will be demonstrated and available for use.
