Canadian Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner October 6, 2012

Its that time of year again, the leaves that survived the harsh Texas summer are changing colour, everybody seems to be talking about football and us Canadians are anxiously awaiting the start of the NHL Season (or just hoping there is no lockout), but ultimately it means its time again for Canadian Thanksgiving!

This year it will be held at the Breckenridge Park Pavilion in Richardson. This is a covered pavilion. Let's show up for 4pm and then we can start eating around 5pm-5:30pm. There will be electricity available if you need to plug in a crock pot, etc.

Please bring a side or dessert (list what you plan to bring when you RSVP or in the comments section). If anybody wants to bring a Turkey or anything other than a side dish please let me know.

This year we would also like to include a Pie Contest. $5 Entry for the Pie Contest with the money being donated to the North Texas Food Bank. More on the Rules to come soon so stay tuned.

We will also be collecting canned foods and other non-perishables to bring to the Food Bank so we can help make some other folks Thanksgiving better too, because Canadians are known for giving!
