The Canadian Studies program at Western Michigan University is calling to order the 2013 Annual Canadian Studies Roundtable on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Fetzer Center.

We invite scholars, teachers, students and the general public to join us for a day of workshops and analysis of current events regarding the United States-Canada relationship.

Among the offerings: Consul General of Canada Roy Norton will present a talk entitled, "237 Years of Canada-US Relations -- In an Hour". Quebec Delegate Eric Marquis will discuss "Politics and Society in Contemporary Quebec". Additional presentations will focus on New France and our Midwest Heritage.

The noted First Nations filmmaker Yves Sioui-Durand will present his award-winning film "Mesnak" and answer your questions following the screening.
