2500 University Drive NW
Calgary, Alberta T2N 1N4

The goal of this event is to bridge the gap that exists between the different cultural groups at the University and consequently in our city. This event will last from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during which we plan to feature panel discussions, guest speakers, games and team challenges, a silent auction, a song and dance period as well as catered ethnic foods. The spirit of Mosaic is that all those who participate will take the opportunity to approach those cultural, religious, language or ethnic based groups they don’t understand, have questions about or are unfamiliar with. We invite you to challenge yourselves by attending and participating in Mosaic to meet other cultural groups as well as share information about your culture in a safe and unique environment.

There are several ways you can get involved in Mosaic:
- You can represent your group by leading a table at the event where you would be ready to answer questions from participants about your group (religious, cultural, ethnic, language based, etc). We will provide a basic guideline and all the necessary support to setup the tables. You can participate as a group or individual. Without your help we won’t able to make this event a real representation of all the groups in our city.
- You can participate by presenting songs, poetry, stories, plays or dances representative of your group.
- You can donate an item representative of your culture which would be displayed and auctioned during the event. We believe this exposition of items from the different cultural groups in our city will create a visible mosaic of the people that make Calgary such a special city. (All the funds raise will be used towards making this event an annual celebration of culture and community in Calgary).
- And of course, by coming to the event to learn about others.

This will be a tremendous opportunity to grow together as a community!
