On August 6th through August 8th, Comix welcomes “brutal, hilarious, and audacious” humor of Chris Titus. His one man show “Norman Rockwell is Bleeding” played to sold out crowds before airing on Showtime, and his latest Comedy Central Special “The 5th Annual End of the World Tour” was a huge hit.
In addition to these recent successes, Titus was the creator and star of the TV show Titus and has been featured on shows like Big Shots, Talk Soup, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He talks about things most comics would find impossible to make funny, like mental illness, heart attacks, and fist fighting his father, and will make you howl with laughter. He is that most rare of comics in that his material is edgy and pushes the envelope, but is still accessible and meaningful to everyone.
