Join Mass Audubon and the Massasoit Chapter of Massachusetts Archaeological Society for a program about the North River and the impact it had on people of the South Shore from prehistoric times to the present. Learn about Native American Cultures who lived along the river 5,000 years ago. View real Native American artifacts from the area and learn the importance of each. Learn about ship building and how it influenced people's lives and occupations. Take a walk with us down to the North River and visualize what it looked like a millennium ago!
