Come experience days long gone but not forgotten. Campfire guests will sit around a roaring campfire ringed with old-time oil lanterns as they listen to stories presented by Author and Choctaw Storyteller, Greg Rodgers of War Acres, Oklahoma. Greg’s storytelling repertory includes both traditional and contemporary Choctaw stories, family stories, and travel stories from the year he spent in Prague, Czech Republic teaching English as a Second Language. The campfire saga is designed to be age-appropriate and audience-minded.

In addition to the stories, guests will have the opportunity to view an exhibit of the Park’s collection of Points and Arrowheads and make their own twig weaving craft.

Campfire admission includes s’mores, cowboy coffee, old-fashioned lemonade, hot chocolate and cool branch water.
