Camps at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens are fun, holistic investigations of the close-to-home natural world. The camp curriculum weaves nature activities and investigations into the beauty of a public garden. Fun activities include (but are not limited to) gardening, nature journaling, drumming, hikes, yoga, storytelling, habitat restoration projects, music, scavenger hunts, Native American lore, painting, vegetable gardening, and much more. Camp Grow is not a sports camp, day care, or play camp. Activities are designed to be engaging, challenging and educational. To assist in fostering a sense of community and belonging, all accepted applicants are required to sign a Behavoir Agreement. We highly value and encourage inclusion of all campers in all activities. We will adventure to every corner of the gardens using gazebos, shady forests, lakes, gardens, and open meadows as our playground. In rainy weather we may use the Visitor Center or Atrium for activities. The Log Cabin will serve as the camp home base. Gardeners I sessions are June 27-July 1; July 11-July 15 and July 25- July 30.
