Cambridge Keep Our NHS Public - Public Meeting February 13, 2008

Cambridge Keep Our NHS Public is holding a public meeting on Wednesday 13th February, 8pm, Friends Meeting House, Jesus Lane, Cambridge to plan and discuss the way forward for local campigning.
Local NHS facilities are under threat from closure and privatisation, including the proposal for Sue Ryder to take over beds at Brookfields Hospital, outsourcing of Laundry Services at Addenbrooke's, privatisation of Supported Living and Drug Rehab services.
We have alread witnessed savage cuts in Mental Health services and the governments plans for the future of the NHS consist of increased involvement of the private sector at our expense.
