Caltech-Occidental Symphony Orchestra features violinist Lawrence Sonderling on November 13th and 14th at Occidental College and Caltech November 13, 2010

Conducted by Allen Robert Gross, the Caltech-Occidental Symphony will feature violinist Lawrence Sonderling on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 7:30 pm in Thorne Hall at Occidental College, and on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 3:30 pm in Ramo Auditorium at Caltech. Lawrence Sonderling is a member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Occidental College's violin instructor.

The program will include Nicolai: Overture to "The Merry Wives of Windsor", Mendelssohn: Symphony No. 4 ("Italian"), and Shostakovich: Violin Concerto No. 1. Both performances will have the same program.
