Dallas at the Crossroads - Dr. Glenn Linden, author and Southern Methodist University professor, discusses desegregation of Dallas schools in the 1960s after a screening of Dallas at the Crossroads, in cooperation with the Dallas Public Library. The film was produced in 1961 by the local business community to prepare the city for peaceful integration.
Families, students, community organizations, and the general public are invited to attend the interactive programs, which consist of film screenings, gallery talks, and panel discussions. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and programs begin at 7:00 p.m. Parking is available at the Museum and costs $4. The Museum is a short walk from DART's West End Light Rail Station and Union Station.
