From the highest of mountains to the iciest of poles, what is it that drives people to explore the earths extremes? The pursuit of knowledge? The search for riches? Conquest of territory? Missionary zeal? The thrill of the unknown? The lure of the extreme? Testing the limits of human endurance?
Why not join host Prof Rob Morrison as he asks these questions and more of Antarctic explorer and all-round adventurer Tim Jarvis? Plus hear what neuroscientist Prof Marcello Costa and researcher in sports psychology Jan Lewis have to say about thrill seeking!
