California Youth of the Year Celebration in San Francisco April 12, 2011

Nine inspiring Boys & Girls Club teens from around California will be honored for outstanding contributions to their families, schools, communities and Boys & Girls Clubs, as well as personal challenges and obstacles overcome. The nine finalists will move on to Sacramento on April 14 where the state Youth of the Year winner will be announced. Being named Youth of the Year is the highest honor a Boys & Girls Club member can receive.

The event is co-chaired by Janet Lamkin of Bank of America, Carrie Schwab-Pomerantz of Charles Schwab Foundation, Lisa Stevens of Wells Fargo and Tracey Warson of Citibank. More than $100,000 was raised at the inaugural dinner last year.
