Calgary Zombie Walk October 14, 2006

The 2nd Annual Calgary Zombie Walk takes place on Saturday, October 14th, starting at 3pm from Olympic Plaza and/or 4pm from the park at 17th Ave and 8th St.

IMPORTANT ZOMBIE WALK ROUTE CHANGES BELOW!!!
This year's route is different and a little shorter than last year, so please note the changes.

The walk will start in two stages, as follows:

1. All "super zombies" are invited to gather at Olympic Plaza no later than 3pm. From Olympic Plaza the horde will head down Stephen Avenue to 4th Street SW, then head south to 17th Ave. Shambling westward form that point, the next stop is the park at 17th Ave & 8th St, where we will meet:
2. The lazy zombies. A second group of zombies will gather at the above mentioned park at or around 4pm.

Remember - zombies tend to move slowly and occasionally have problems with limbs falling off, body stiffness and possibly police officers. And, despite being animated corpses in search of fresh human brains, pedestrian zombies must obey all traffic signals. If you do not see any of your brethren exactly at 4pm, be patient. Mill about and look scary.

From the park, the dead will continue to head west along 17th Ave, all the way to 11th St, where we'll head north to Millenium Park. Once we reach Millenium Park, the Zombie Walk is officially over. However, any and all zombies are invited to head to The Warehouse Nightclub, located at 731 10th Ave SW (alley entrance), for the OFFICIAL Calgary Zombie Walk Afterparty, which promises to be a night of fun, dancing and drinks. Be sure to join us after 9PM for the night, as there will be drink specials for all zombies, and we'll have prizes to give out for the best zombie costumes.
