Cake Decorating Class October 11, 2009

From simple birthday cakes to tiered wedding cakes, we will teach you how fun and easy cake decorating can be. You bring a baked and cooled cake and we show you how to fill and frost it and make simple or elaborate designs on the sides and top. We will make a buttercream crumb coating and focus on basic cake making skills and decorating techniques with a fondant demo and recipe, simple syrups, candying techniques, fillings and flavorings. Class participants must bring two round 9x2 inch cakes.
