Audio Invasion Show Changes Venue to The Waterfront at Aloha Tower

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Foster the People have had to postpone their Honolulu show. Originally slated to perform on Wednesday, February 8th at the Blaisdell Arena for the Audio Invasion show, Foster the People will now be performing at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower on Sunday, March 18, 2012.

As a result of the change in performer lineup, the Audio Invasion show featuring Cage the Elephant, Best Coast and Mariachi El Bronx will move from the Blaisdell Arena to The Waterfront at Aloha Tower and will still be on Wednesday, February 8th.

All tickets purchased for the show at the Blaisdell Arena will be refunded from point of purchase. New tickets will be issued for the Audio Invasion show at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower. New tickets will also be issued for the new Foster the People performance date.

Hot off their tour with the Foo Fighters, Cage the Elephant, debuted their second album Thank You Happy Birthday at #2 on the Billboard 200 Chart this year selling nearly 40,000 copies so far. Rolling Stone, New York Times, LA Times, USA Today, Entertainment Weekly and People heralded it "one of the best rock albums of the year." In recent months, they have sold out shows, performed multiple songs on The Late Show with David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel Live! Their single "Shake Me Down" held the #1 spot for five consecutive weeks on the Alternative Radio chart and Billboard's Year End Chart places it at #2 on both 2011's year end Rock Songs and Alternative Songs Charts.

L.A. based duo Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno also known as Best Coast launched onto the music scene after releasing a flurry of hit songs "The Sun Was High (So Was I)," "When I'm with You," "Where the Boys Are" and "Up All Night" just to name a few. The group quickly gained notoriety becoming a sensation by 2009. Their first debut album Crazy For You released shortly after was ranked 39th on Pitchfork’s list Top 50 Albums of 2010. The duo also just released a video for their single “Our Deal” which was directed by Drew Barrymore and is starring Chloe Moretz.

Mariachi El Bronx is an alter-ego for a band called the Bronx. This band has developed this alter-ego to explore the combination of both their usual punk rock sound with influences of mariachi. The band has dropped two albums with this fun combination, the most recent being earlier this year. They appeared in 2009 at South by South West in Austin, Texas and earlier this month they performed in the UK at Vans Off The Wall Music Night. The band made their network television debut on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this year performing "48 Roses" from their self-titled debut album.
