"LIFE ON MARS"

In this talk, Steve Cutts talks for 35 to 45 mins about the planet Mars. The talk is supported by a power point presentation of about 30 colour photos of space exploration. We discuss what we know about Mars and how we discovered it. The talk also looks at the future and considers the dangers a human crew would have to face on such a voyage. As a doctor and a physics graduate, Dr Cutts looks at both the engineering challenge and the psychological and physiological risks to the crew. We conclude by asking why it hasn't happened yet and looking at some of the options to get us to Mars much faster than anybody yet imagines possible.
