Allergies affect up to twenty percent of the population. The most common allergies are hay fever and asthma. Allergic reactions may also occur in the skin or gastrointestinal tract and may even be involved in problems such as migraine and hyperactivity in children.
The most common cause of hay fever is grass pollen but you may be allergic to almost anything, including animal danders, house dust, cosmetics, drugs and many foodstuffs.

This talk will discuss the causes of allergies in more detail and the development of methods for their treatment.
