CAFE 12th Anniversary Concert November 2, 2008

The Cultural Academy for Excellence (CAFE) utilizes the unique tool of the Caribeean steel band to help motivate children and focus their energies away from negative behaviors and into positive results. Our 12th anniversary concert will showcase many of the steel bands in the CAFE family, including the Adult Group Ensemble (TAGE), the Intermediate Band and our top band, the award-winning, nationally renowned Positive Vibrations Youth Steel Orchestra. We'll also be featuring some very special guests. Come out and celebrate 12 wonderful years with us in an afternoon of entertainment, education and steel band music.

About CAFE: Celebrating its 12th year in existence, the Cultural Academy for Excellence is an arts and tutoring program designed to give youth the foundation for academic success and life skills. Over the last dozen years, this Saturday academy has grown into one of the most respected and recognized programs in the DC metropolitan area.
