‘Brazil boasts many great musicians but there is no doubt who is the greatest of them all.’
Songlines

Acknowledged as one of the greatest songwriters of this century. An astute social commentator and balladeer of highly emotive love songs, Caetano is a respected poet and one of only a handful of artists who has resolved how to be musically modern and still undeniably Brazilian.

His seductive, melodic voice and bossa-nova style guitar playing have been used in plaintive ballads and avant-garde poetry. Caetano’s recent release Cê, his first recording in 6 years, displays the remarkable breadth of Caetano's musicianship, as singer, instrumentalist, and composer.
