CACTUS –The Seduction at Revolutions International Theatre Festival February 2, 2007

From Melbourne, Australia, comes CACTUS –The Seduction, a unique, physically devised solo show by Jonno Katz, which treads the line of comedy, theatre and performance art. Three characters walk through a desert encountering their dreams, flashbacks and fantasies. This highly original, hilarious, and absurd theater, performed with manic comic zip and light abandon, is centered around Phil, who is searching for love. The Mobius-strip storyline saunters among character comedy, stand-up and physical mania. CACTUS, which is directed by Pajama Man and Tricklock Company member Mark Chavez, has played to sold-out houses throughout Canada in Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Victoria and Vancouver and has won the Patron’s Pick award in Toronto and the Georgia Straight “Pick of the Fringe” in Vancouver.
