Vermont-based Cabot Creamery Cooperative is a proud sponsor of the Pawtucket Red Sox’s 12th Annual Fan Fest on May 26, 2008 at McCoy Stadium (1 Columbus Avenue) in Pawtucket, RI. The game starts at 1:05 p.m., and adds Cabot Creamery team to its starting lineup of family-friendly activities after the PawSox face the Scranton Yankees.
The 3-A-Day truck will provide fans with information about the importance of meeting daily calcium requirements, and distribute individually-wrapped samples of Cabot’s award-winning, aged Vermont cheddar cheese produced by the farm families of Cabot Creamery Cooperative. And since May is National Osteoporosis Awareness Month, the fan fest is a great place for all ages to learn more about “striking out” obesity and osteoporosis using low-fat cheddar cheese.
According to Augusto “Cookie” Rojas, General Sales Manager for the Paw Sox, “I’m thrilled to have this all American-brand become part of this year’s fan festival. Cabot Creamery and the 3-A-Day Truck adds an exciting and educational element to our event, and is a great example of a home run partnership benefiting our fans.”
The Pawtucket Red Sox, known as the PawSox, is the minor league baseball Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox and belongs to the International League. The team plays at McCoy Stadium, One Columbus Avenue in Pawtucket. For more information about the event or for ticket sales, visit www.pawsox.com.
