Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Chicago songstress Shelley MacArthur and an evening of romantic love songs as part of the Cabaret with a View series on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. Presented by Millennium Park, Cabaret with a View brings audiences to the stage of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion to experience music in an intimate setting and a climate controlled environment. 

In an evening that is sure to be a Valentine's Day treat for cabaret aficionados and lovers of jazz, MacArthur will sing selections from her new CD, With Love, Shelley, featuring love-themed songs by such composers as Gershwin, Bacharach, Songheim, Cy Coleman and Jimmy McHugh. MacArthur will be joined by Musical Director and pianist Bradley Williams, Dan DeLorenzo on bass, Pat Mallinger on saxophone and flute and Jim Widlowski on drums.

Throughout her years of performing, Shelley has had the honor of singing for President Bill Clinton and Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and has shared the stage with such diverse celebrities as George Burns, Bobby Short, Mandy Patinkin and David Foster. She has performed for the Mabel Mercer Foundation in New York City's Town Hall and at Jazz at Lincoln Center, at the Hamptons and in Chicago. Recent engagements include sold out performances for the 50th anniversary celebration of the Joffrey Ballet and at the world-famous Empire Room in the Palmer House Hilton, opening for Michael Feinstein at the Ravinia Festival, and "On Stage" at The Auditorium Theatre.
