DESCRIPTION: "A Dragon Odyssey" is a unique Chinese/English dance musical that is
visually appealing, dramatically rich, and stylistically intriguing. In
the ancient time, the four holy spirits, Green Dragon, White Tiger,
Crimson Sparrow, Black Turtle were mandated by the God of Heaven (Tien
Dei) to be in charge of the Rain, Wind, Sun and Moon. The four holy
spirits nurture the Earth, and keep all creatures well balanced. Until
the day, when the Green Dragon fell in love with one of the Crimson
Sparrow’s lady fairies - Sky Blue. Everything has changed....

Our performance at the Cabaret will focus on the beginning of the story,
with 3 traditional Chinese dances:
#1: Dance/Music: Morning (Music from Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg)
#2 Dance/Music: Anitra’s Dance (Music from Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg)
# 3 Dance/Music: In the Hall of the Mountain King (Music from Peer Gynt by
Edvard Grieg)

The Prince of Fun! Presents The Adventures of Gallant Lad (excerpt)
with Clint Jackson Baker

DESCRIPTION: All it takes is a tinfoil crown and imagination. Can a mean flower, an icky spider, and a bratty dragon keep Gallant Lad from marrying the Princess? Will you join the Jolly Fellows to find out? Then, just take up the call of the Jolly Fellows: "Awrighty, Aphrodite, let’s do it!"

BIO: Clint Jackson Baker, a native of Indiana, is a Visitor’s Assistant at Minnesota Children’s Museum, where he fell in love with storytelling. He also volunteers as a storyteller at Creative Hours in Learning Development (CHILD), a daycare in the Seward neighbourhood of Minneapolis. The Prince of Fun! Presents The Adventures of Gallant Lad is based on a prose-poem Clint wrote in a high-school English class, originally entitled The Three Tasks. http://theprinceoffun.blogspot.com/
