Garamendi will discuss his commission's 21st-century agenda and how the development of green technologies, renewable energy and alternative fuels is needed to help stimulate our state's manufacturing, agriculture and international trade industries and create new jobs. Garamendi will also address how workforce education and training play vital roles in the global market. Garamendi is the first Democrat to officially announce his candidacy for the 2010 California governor's race.
