Two exiles, a Cuban novelist turned immigrant gardener, and Catherine - a withdrawn widow with a painful past, struggle to find each other, and themselves, in an overgrown, weed-filled yard. The hot Texas day turns hotter as these two exiles share a drink and a dance, and try to banish the ghosts that haunt them both. Can these lost souls help one another find their way?
